Is buying Google reviews legal in the UAE?
Short version: yes, when the review comes from a real UAE consumer with a real experience. No, when it does not. Federal Consumer Protection Law No. 15 of 2020 and the 2023 Executive Regulations drew a clear line, and Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 added cyber-conduct liability. Cheap providers ignored both.

The 2023 Executive Regulations added specific duties around online representations, including reviews and endorsements.
